SYNCDATE MCP server

What the SYNCDATE MCP server is, how an assistant connects to it, and the reference for each of its 55 tools.

Last updated

The SYNCDATE MCP server lets an AI assistant manage your SYNCDATE account for you. It only reaches calendars you have already connected to SYNCDATE, and it is separate from syncing: you do not need a calendar sync to use it.

There are two parts. Platform MCP is included on every plan and covers syncs, connected accounts, preferences and support, with the same plan limits and permissions as the dashboard. Calendar Hub MCP is included on Plus, Pro and Team and reads events, finds free time, and creates, changes or deletes events directly in your connected calendars. Team admins can also manage members, invitations, settings and sync policies; admin access does not reveal members' events. Billing changes and final account-deletion confirmation finish in the browser, and access is subject to the connection's granted permissions and a daily request limit.

To connect an assistant, follow Connect an AI assistant.

Connection

The server address is https://syncdate.app/api/mcp. It uses the HTTP transport with JSON-RPC 2.0.

Sign-in is OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (S256) in your browser, and dynamic client registration is supported. There is no API key. The OAuth discovery documents are at https://syncdate.app/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and https://syncdate.app/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.

A connection grants some of these permissions: calendar:read, calendar:write, sync:read, sync:manage and account:manage. Tools outside the granted permissions are not listed to the assistant. Each tool page names the permission it needs.

Tools

There are 55 tools in six groups. Each tool has a page with its permission, access and inputs.
